Anguilla Car Rental Terms and Conditions
RECEIVING THE VEHICLE
When receiving your vehicle, please inspect it in order to find any possible damage or shortcomings. If any occur, or if the rental car is not in accordance with your reservation, please inform a WCAR employee of these immediately. Our employees are happy to help you get acquainted with your vehicle and give travel directions.
USING THE VEHICLE
We hope that you will use the rental car in a prudent manner. Please do not drive in conditions unsuitable for the vehicle. Please do drive within permitted speed limits and park only in designated areas. In any claims against us we shall act in accordance with the law and the contract in holding the Hirer liable to compensate any possible damage, fines and charges.
IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT OR NEED OF REPAIR
If you are in an accident or encounter a problem with your vehicle, please contact WCAR by the telephone numbers specified with your car rental contract 1-264-497-8305/ 1-264-235-7755 or the Emergency hotline 911.
Hirers involved in accidents which are due to their own carelessness will not be given a replacement vehicle and will be responsible for loss of revenue while the vehicle is awaiting or under repairs.
The Hirer, by accepting the collision damage waiver and paying the charges specified is hereof liable to the owner in the event of any damages to the vehicle to the extent of EC $3,000 or Us $1,116.00 but shall not be responsible for any further loss or damage to the extent to which the Owner's insurers agree to compensate the Owner for the same pursuant to the policy of insurance.
EXTENDING YOUR CAR RENTAL PERIOD
It is possible to extend your car rental period if no other reservations have been made to the vehicle in question. You will be charged for the extra rental period in accordance to the WCAR price list.
RETURNING THE VEHICLE ON TIME
The rental car must be returned by the time and date specified in the car rental agreement. If the rental car is returned more than five hours late, WCAR will charge you an extra day’s rent.
REFUELLING THE TANK
Please make a note of the fuel suitable for the vehicle and the fuel gauge. The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel that it was rented. If the Client returns the vehicle with less fuel, WCAR will charge the Client 1.5 times the cost of each missing litre of fuel, in accordance with the current price.
